It’s no surprise that Donald Trump wants his presidential inauguration to be one of the year’s biggest events in entertainment. Scratch that, the biggest entertainment event in the history of western civilization. Trump has reportedly enlisted the help of Apprentice and Voice producer, Mark Burnett, to recruit celebs for the star-studded affair and Gwen Stefani is on the president-elect’s wish-list.
Stefani has remained quiet about her politicial stance, but did perform “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” with Blake Shelton at President Obama’s final state dinner. However, performance doesn’t necessarily constitute political devotion.
Personally, I think that if asked to sing at Trump’s inauguration, Gwen Stefani will likely accept. Whether a fan of Trump or not, the honor is a high one and will allow Gwen a new place in the history books.
