Netflix Will Finally Allow You To Download Content For Offline Streaming

Better late than never, we suppose.  If your Netflix viewing pleasure has ever been interrupted by a lack of signal, you need to fear no longer.  The streaming service will finally allow users to download its vast library of films and television shows which will allow for offline streaming.  No more wi-fi, no more 4G, it can all be downloaded and watched at your leisure.

Not all items are available for download yet, but sooner or later all titles will be available.  Users just need to view the details page of any movie or tv show, and a button will be available to click to select to download it for later.  This feature is available to everyone with a Netflix account and will not be added with an additional charge.  This feature, as of now, is only available to mobile and tablet users, and as long as thy have downloaded the most recent update of the app.

There is also an “Available for Download” section within the app which will make your offline viewing options all the easier to spot!  Gilmore Girls isn’t on there yet, but reportedly Black MirrorStranger Things, and Orange Is the New Black are all there waiting for you!
