If you’re a fan of mid-century modern and can afford a $665,000 home, give Ed Murchison at Virginia Cook Realtors a call. This home, located on the Disney streets in Preston Hollow at 11016 Pinocchio Drive boasts the original layout from when the house was built in 1954. The cabinetry is also the original and topped with formica counters and holds pink appliances. The homeowner purchased the home 22 years ago and has not altered the home, making it “one of the most iconic mid-century modern houses in Dallas,” according to Murchison.
For those who love the outdoors, Murchison says, “every major area of the house opens to an outdoor living space — either to the pool, or a little private garden.” Of course, in keeping with the theme, the homeowner has furnished the house in the style it was built, even parking a pink Cadillac in the front drive. The house was featured in the 1954 Parade of Homes. To see pics, check out Zillow.
