The Cure Announce New Album

The Cure have announced that they will be releasing their 14th studio album in the coming year.

NME is reporting that the new album was recorded at the same time as 2008′s ’4:13 Dream’, and as of right now it is title ’4:14 Scream’. The group also has plans to release a series of live concert DVDs in the coming year.

Along with the new album The Cure is planing a trilogy style concert tour, in which they play three of their albums in their entirety at shows.

The Cure has played tours like this in the past, back in 2002 they played a tour that featured the albums ‘Ponography’, ‘Disintergration’ and ‘Bloodflowers’. More recently, in 2011 on the ‘Reflections’ tour, they played ‘Three Imaginary Boys’, ‘Seventeen Seconds’ and ‘Faith’ in full.
