Lego Spill Ties Up Highway
There is possibly no greater pain than stepping on a Lego barefoot. Parents know the pain of a tiny plastic block stabbing the tender underside of their feet should really be saved for some sort of torture chamber rather than the living room.
Before It’s News is reporting that drivers along a highway in West Virginia were cringing at a spill of Legos that closed a lane of traffic on Sunday.
As dangerous as they are to bare feet, Legos didn’t pose a threat of puncture to car tires. However, the spilled Legos on a cold, wet road did pose a risk of making a slippery road even more slick. As a precaution, local authorities closed a lane of traffic so that the toy bricks could be cleaned up.
There was no accident of a container truck that sent the tiny bricks scattering along the road, but rather it seems as if the Legos fell off of a family’s car. The mother of the child to whom the Legos belonged stopped to help clean up the spilled bricks.
