The popular improvisational “game show” Whose Line Is It Anyway is getting a refresher on the CW.
Colin Mochrie, one of the stars of both the British and American versions seems to be locked in for the new show which will premier this summer on the network. A specific date has not been released.
Mochrie Tweeted this last week:
Oh, by the way, Whose Line is coming back. More details later.—

The new show will be hosted, not by Drew Carey, but by Aisha Tyler. Tyler who is on “The Talk” also does comedy and voices Lana on FX’s Archer.
Mochrie, Ryan Stiles and Wayne Brady are all coming back to the show and will appear in every episode along with one guest comedian.
No word on why Drew Carey is not involved, but Entertainment Weekly said Carey’s rep told them she did not know anything about the new show.
