Residents in several Montana counties got a bit of surprise from their local news station. An emergency alert was broadcast from KRTV in Great Falls, MT alerting that the zombie apocalypse had begun.

The emergency alert that was broadcast reported that the bodies of the dead had risen from the grave and were attacking the living. It also warned that the bodies were extremely dangerous. It did not say that the zombie could be stopped by removing the head or destroying the brain.

The broadcast is reported to be a hoax perpetrated by hackers who hijacked the emergency alert system at the TV station.
