The Huffington Post is reporting that an 11-year-old boy in Spain was very nervous about his parents and teaching. So nervous that he faked his own kidnapping so his parents would skip the meeting.

It happened earlier the week, when he sent a text messages from his phone to his father that said he had been kidnapped.

When the father, a police officer, called back the boy claimed to be stuffed in someone’s trunk.

A nationwide alert was sent out, but upon further investigation the father discovered the boy was hiding out in a family friends house.

That’s when the boy came clean on why he faked the kidnapping.
