Former Guns N Roses guitarist and Rock and Roll hall of famer Slash received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. Somebody decided that it would be a good idea for Charlie Sheen to step in-front of the mic to introduce the Rocker.
Sheen actually did a pretty good job, plus he took some shots at Axl Rose.
The Anger Management star started his speech by cracking a joke.
“It’s quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on.” Sheen said.
He added: “This star is going to be stepped on more than the coke we did in the Eighties.” You can see the complete speech in the video below. According to Rolling Stone, Slash covered his face to hide his laughter.
Slash later told the crowd on Hollywood Boulevard: “I’ve been a part of the Hollywood fabric for a long time and to actually be appreciated by the city of Hollywood is a huge, huge honor.”
