A woman in Chicago is suing a Chinese restaurant after one of its employees attacked her for requesting more sauce.

All Tiawanda Shears wanted was an extra packet of soy sauce.

According to the Huffington Post, Shears was picking up a to-go order from New China Wok Limited when she noticed there was only one packet of sauce in her bag.

After she “politely requested” more sauce, employee Hui Tian Wu reportedly became so enraged he stormed out from behind the counter and attacked Shears, pushing her through a glass door and severely injuring her leg.

Shears is suing both Wu and the restaurant for $50,000 for battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
