We all know that auto-tune is a big thing in today’s hip hop world, and now it is also starting to be a popular sound for many other recording artists and companies. Well, I do not think anyone could have seen this coming, or you might have, but PBS Digital Studios has created an auto-tune remix of the late, great, Mister Rogers, and “Garden Of Your Mind”. With the help of John Boswell, a mash-up artist who has been notoriously known for auto-tuning the Symphony of Science YouTube videos, created this wonderful video of the man we all grew up with and loved.
This video has become an internet sensation and has blown up across the digital universe and already has over 3 million views on YouTube in only a span of 3 days.
It looks as if PBS is trying to grab the attention of everyone again and hopefully grasp their childhood one more time before it is too late. PBS came out with saying, “When we discovered video mash-up artist John D. Boswell, aka melodysheep, on YouTube, we immediately wanted to work together. Turns out that he is a huge Mister Rogers Neighborhood fan, and was thrilled at the chance to pay tribute to one of our heroes. Both PBS and the Fred Rogers Company hope you like John’s celebration of Fred Rogers’ message.” They also go on by saying this is one of a series of PBS icons to be remixed in auto-tune.
