Today’s Throwback Video of the Day is [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Romeo Void[/lastfm]’s “Never Say Never.”

FYI:  “I might like you better if we slept together” does NOT work as a pick-up line.  Trust us.

After their debut album, It’s a Condition, was deemed a “masterpiece of American post-punk,” Romeo Void released the four-song EP Never Say Never in January 1982.  It peaked at No. 147 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, and the title track became a minor hit for the San Francisco band.

Romeo Void released two more albums, Benefactor and Instincts, before calling it quits in 1985.  However, singer [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Debora Iyall[/lastfm] continued to pursue music on the side.
