Guns N’ Roses front-man Axl Rose has shown off some pretty horrific battle bruises to his leg that he sustained from performing in Moscow last week.

The injury was so bad, that Axl was unable to fly with the rest of the band.

Axl sent out this tweet on Wednesday:

A Haematoma is blood collecting under the skin causing severe swelling. In some extreme cases the blood has to be drained from the area.

Axl’s agent is claiming that the singer slipped and pulled his hamstring.

The band had to leave him behind in Russia, but he has since rejoined the group. They are preparing for a string of shows in the U.K.
