Oak Cliff’s BrewRiot Home-brew competition began in 2009 as a way to celebrate the are of brewing beer.
In the past, the event has brought together the region’s best brew-masters in an outdoor street festival with live music, food, games, and more.
The 2012 BrewRiot will be held Sunday May 20 on Bishop Ave between 7th and 8th streets.
The fest will take place from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets range from $20-$35 and can be purchased HERE
Over 80 home-brews have entered this year, and there will also be tastings from local breweries like Lakewood, Franconia, Rahr, Deep Ellum, and the soon-to-open Four Corners.
They have also added a 1.1 mile chug-a-run this year. It’s a run through Oak Cliff with a few stops along the way for beers that ends by storming the gates of BrewRiot.
Live music line up at BrewRiot features Lucy Pierre’s and the King Bucks.
