Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has predicted that that ABC show Lost, which had its series finale 2 years ago, will one day return to a television screen near you.
Good, maybe my questions about what the heck that Smoke Monster was will finally be answered.
Damon Lindelof, who is currently working on the Star Trek films, had some interesting things to say about Lost at the Entertainment and Technology Summit hosted by Variety.
Lindelof said, “It’s been two years [since the show ended] and we told the story we wanted to tell. I do feel like the world has not seen the end of Lost but I’m not going to have any involvement.”
He also gave his blessing to any production team who want to try and tackle the new Lost. “It would be hypocritical of me to say I’m going to [reboot] Star Trek but I don’t want anyone to touch Lost,” he said.
Lost ended back in May of 2010, but their were plenty of questions left unanswered. Like, where they in purgatory? And, Whats up with those polar bears? Maybe Lost round two will do a better job of filling in the blanks.
