72-year-old Paul Hogan, star of the Crocodile Dundee films, has reached a deal with Australian authorizes over and eight-year tax battle.

Hogan allegedly owed $150 million in unpaid taxes and penalties.

The BBC is reporting, as a result of his tax dispute he was barred from leaving Australia in 2010 and had to miss his mother’s funeral in the United States.

Hogan has denied any wrong doing the whole time, he said, “glad it is all behind me now. It will be nice not to have to talk about tax all the time.”

A statement form the actor’s lawyer explained that the dispute had been settled over mediation before a former Australian High Court judge. The terms of the settlement are confidential, “but as part of the settlement the departure prohibition order issued against Mr. Hogan has been revoked by the commissioner.”

Sounds like Hogan has a pretty hefty tax bill to pay, perhaps it might be time to makeCrocodile Dundee 4?
