We’re making [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Erasure[/lastfm]’s “A Little Respect” our Throwback Video of the Day!

Why?  Because we can.

After years of success in their native England, synthpop duo Erasure finally scored a hit in the U.S. with their 1988 album The Innocents.  It peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard 200 and sold a million copies, becoming Erasure’s biggest-selling album to date in the States.

The Innocents spawned two Top 20 singles, including “A Little Respect.”  The song also reached No. 2 on the Hot Dance Club chart.
