An Ohio drama teacher at Green Middle School has been arrested after police discovered him in the back seat of his car with a partially-clothed 14-year-old student.

The 27 year-old, Jason Mazan, has been charged with importuning, a fifth-degree felony.

WEWS-TV in Cleveland is reporting that Inspector Bill Holland said a Summit County deputy noticed a vehicle parked behind a business in Green, Ohio on Saturday, April 7 around 1:30 a.m.

The deputy found Mazan and the teen girl, who were both partially-clothed in the back seat.

Mazan was booked and has been released on at $50,000 bond.

“Any sex offense that involves a child is very serious,” Holland said.

According to court documents, Mazan “did solicit a victim by means of telecommunications device… to engage in sexual activity with Jason M. Mazan.”

Michael Nutter, Green Local Schools Superintendent, has said Mazan has been fired, and , “He’s no longer allowed anywhere near our campus.”
