Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld has apologized to singer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adele[/lastfm] in a big way.

After coming under attack for calling her a “little too fat,” Karl Lagerfeld has apologized to Adele by offering her his finest Chanel handbags.

According to The Sun, once he learned of the British songstress’ love of bags, Lagerfeld told his team to send her the very best the fashion house had to offer.

No word on whether Adele will set fire to the handbags once they arrive.
