Real Tie Dye Eggs

Easter weekend is upon us and that means it’s time to dye some eggs.

This year we decided to get creative when decorating our Easter eggs. The best part is that we figured out how to do it for free! All you need is a couple of old silk ties, some eggs, and friends to paint with.

Ok so you’ll need a few more things so get the list and step-by-step instructions here. This is a good chance to finally do something with that funky penguin tie you got for Christmas 8 years ago.

This is also a good way to get rid of someone else’s tacky tie. Just ask to borrow it and return it with a matching egg. Sounds like a win-win to us.

Now, if we could just find that Rubik’s Cube tie…
