You can’t drive on the bridge for a few weeks, but they are celebrating by having a run, and a huge street fair. 

Who knew a bridge could be so much fun? 

They opened up the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge last night, with a big party and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lyle Lovett[/lastfm] played. [photogallerylink id=105565]

The festivities are continuing this morning with the Trinity River Levee Run.

That’s a 5 and 10K, where you get to run across the bridge!

Well, you’ll have to keep going after that because the bridge isn’t THAT long.

They’ll have a street fair party on the bridge from noon til 9 today too, and a sunrise ribbon cutting tomorrow so get the details here.
