The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is going to establish its very own Walk Of Fame.

They must have thought to themselves, “Hey it works so well in Hollywood, why not Cleveland?”

The Rock Hall has announced plans to establish a Walk of Fame.

[photogallerylink id=99686 align=left]The first bronze plaques, honoring the Class of 2012, will be installed in sidewalks of downtown Cleveland before the annual induction ceremonies on April 14th. Soon you could be seeing ground-mounted tributes to the likes of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruce Springsteen[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Beastie Boys[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Red Hot Chili Peppers[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]AC/DC[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Talking Heads[/lastfm], and the rest, all on the fabulous sidewalks of Cleveland, Ohio.

The Rock Hall will pay for the first 17 plaques; they will announce a fund-raising effort to pay for the remainder — which will also help subsidize future inductions.
