You’ll no longer have to travel to L.A. to see the interactive [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]George Harrison[/lastfm] exhibit at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Soon, you’ll be able to browse through his guitar collection on the iPad.

The Guitar Collection: George Harrison app — on sale February 23rd — displays photos of some of his most cherished guitars, along with audio and video. Each entry details the guitar’s origin, when and how it became part of Harrison’s collection, modifications he made to it and why it was so important in creating his distinctive sound.

Songs from his catalog are organized by the guitars he used.

The video section shows his son [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dhani Harrison[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Tom Petty[/lastfm]‘s guitarist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mike Campbell[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ben Harper[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Josh Homme[/lastfm] each playing and showcasing the guitars.

So your iPad won’t have to gently weep anymore.
