Courtney Love has signed a deal to write her own memoir, according to NME. Her plan is to clear up a few things, like her marriage to Kurt Cobain, her career as Hole‘s front-woman, and her relationship with her daughter.
Hmm, sounds like a page turner.
Love will write the book for William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, and It is expected to hit book shelves later this year.
According to year Neil Strauss’ book, ‘Everyone Loves You When You Are Dead: Journeys Into Fame And Madness‘, earlier this year Ms. Love offered up the chance to snort the ashes of her late husband.
According to Strauss, Love showed him the drawer where she kept the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nirvana[/lastfm] front-man’s ashes. (What were urns too pricy?)
Apparently she then asked if he would like to snort them. (Well cocaine is pretty expensive these days.)
Wow. If Courtney’s book is full of stories like this, how could you not read it?
