Labor Day means two things. First… THREE DAY WEEKEND!
The second is that summer is over. This can be somewhat depressing to a few of us, especially if you spend those warm months plopped down by the pool soaking up some sun and breathing in that refreshing air.
But come Tuesday, when we all head back to work or school and are feeling a little down about the end of Summer, just remember there are reasons to look forward to what’s ahead.
And that’s why we’re presenting to you the Top 5 Reasons to Look Forward to the End of Summer!
The Start of Football Season/Playoff Baseball
We had a bit of a scare there, but football season is happening. Football turns Sunday into Funday.
Get together with friends, chomp down on wings, drink beer, it doesn’t get better than that. And we have months of it, practically every day of the week, if you watch college football too.
And we can’t forget about playoff baseball. This is pure, concentrated magic.
What kind of person are you if you don’t like Halloween?
Too many pennies in your bag each year must have made you bitter.
Forget about those stingy neighbors who never put candy out for you, October 31st is the perfect time to live it up. No matter how old you are, you get to dress up in costume and run around like a kid/fool. You can’t lose here.
Wish you were a dragon in real life?
Breath fire, baby.
Back to School
For the kids, this might seem dreadful because you associate school with work. This is where you’re wrong. Let me tell you why…
If you’re in elementary school, don’t complain. Your life is recess.
High School? You get to hang out with your friends everyday, and the parties on the weekend are epic.
College? Do I have to explain this? YOU’RE AWAY AT COLLEGE!!!!
What’s that? You’re a parent and don’t go to school. Congrats, your kid is out of the house.
The best time of the year for television.
Tons of new shows to watch, and if they suck, you have old reliable ones like The Office and CSI (Insert City HERE).
This, my friends, is just practical. For the ladies, you get to wear pants/stockings everyday, which means you can skip a day or two from shaving your legs.
Doing so on a daily basis is a pain in the butt.
We know because Cosmopolitan said so.
And for the fellas… it’s BEARD SEASON!!! Secretly, all guys want to grow a beard. It’s masculine. With a strong bristled face, a man can chop down trees, wrestle a bear (and WIN), and walk into the harshest of climates and not even wince.
There are just five reasons to be excited that Summer is ending and Fall is on the way. Now enjoy your Labor Day Weekend and be happy when you get back to business next week, because there is so much to look forward to.
