Simon just finished recording his 12th studio album, ‘So Beautiful or So What’. It’s set to drop on April 12th!

According to the TheBluegrassBlog.com, “The album will have bluegrass influence.” And it’s also rumored he will have [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bob Dylan[/lastfm] appear on some of the new tunes.[pullquote quote="It's the best work I've done in 20 years." credit="Paul Simon on his new album"]

We here at Jack are pretty stoked about the new release and apparently Simon has the same excitement. In an interview with ShowBizz411.com, Simon stated, “It’s the best work I’ve done in 20 years.”

Today’s tune, which is the second track and the second single on the album, is called ‘The Afterlife’. Stereogum calls it, “a more straightforward, narrative, and (at least musically) sunny track that looks at waiting in line after you croak.”
