As previously reported here on jackontheweb.com, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Erasure[/lastfm] is set to release an updated version of their 1988 hit single “A Little Respect”. Well, they released it and we got our dirty mittens on the video.
According to slicingupeyeballs.com, the new version titled “A Little Respect (HMI Redux)” was recorded and released to benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute; which raises awareness of gay bullying and teen suicides.
The video was filmed in New York City and features the Hetrick-Martin youth chorus.
Half of the synth-pop duo Andy Bell plays a prominent role in the video, but the the other half, Vince Clarke, is absent. However, you can still hear his handy work through out the song.
So, we present you with an updated version of “A Little Respect” by Erasure, enjoy…
